<p>Why cannot Discussions be disabled? Message Walls and Comments can be disabled, though they are built in the same way on UCP.

<p>Special:SocialActivity must contain Discussions as well, IMHO. This feature uses the same technology as Comments and Message Walls.

I simply can't imagine what will happen with Greetings on the UCP. It is a very often used feature.

I have no clue how they will migrate the Greetings on Message Walls. They are highly customized.

The limited ability of customization of new Message Walls and Discussions is one of problems.

<p>And I also wonder if it is possible to update Discussions so that the language of buttons there depends on the language the user chose in his Preferences. You know, now Discussions have the language of wiki (regardless of the language chosen in Preferences), but this is only for English, Polish, Russian, Spanish, German, French, and some other main languages. For wikis in such languages as Ukrainian, Czech, Serbian etc., the buttons in Discussions are always in English, although not everyone knows it so well. On the other hand, native English speakers cannot choose English as language for displaying in Discussions for wikis in Russian, Spanish etc., though there are few English-speaking users who understand those languages as normally as English.
