The character infobox template here has very clear text that is hard to read with a white background. When I tried to edit it I instead got the infobox builder that provides no way to change text color. Any idea how I can change this?
I had originally put in text-color, but it was claimed as unknown. I also put in a color value under the portable infobox tab but that didn't change anything.
Could you go more into detail please? When I tried to put color value in, the code said it was an unknown value.

I've already created the DiscordIntegrator template and typed in dev:DiscussionsRailModule/code.js onto the MediaWiki:ImportJS on the Cuphead Wiki, but the integrator does not show. Is there something I'm missing?
This might sound stupid, but I'm confused about how to edit a certain thing on the Cuphead Wikia:the Gallery. While it looks good on the main page, it looks awful on articles.
Personally, I hate this current kind of Gallery because 1. It doesn't show the full image, and the only way to see it in fll is to click on it, and 2. There's no add image button, even when there's no "hide add image" in the source text of the article.
When I try to look around the wiki, I can never seem to find any clue on how to edit this and make it change back to normal. Can I get some advice on how to do so?
Title. I've seen some wikis that have this and I was wondering if I could do it for the Cuphead Wiki.
Two things involving the Cuphead Wiki:
1. On the Hilda Berg article, there's a video that, rather than being about the boss herself, is about the elder dragons from the Monster Hunter series. Could someone at the FANDOM staff get rid of it? (Also, I enjoy these videos about Cuphead and hope to see more of them)
2. Someone on my message wall asked me about adding staff application to the wiki. Is there a guide on how to set that up?
Sorry for the late reply. I'll try it out tomorrow. Thanks so much!
I am an admin for the Overwatch Wiki, and I've gotten extremely bored of constant background that's used. I want to find a good size for my wiki that fits in good for not just for my computer, but for other users.
For example, when I tried adding in a resixed image for the new Oasis map as the background, it looks mainly like this.
Yet according to another admin on the wiki, it looks like this.
Is there any chance that this can be fixed so it actually looks the same? I'd appreciate some help.
Hi there! Just wanted to say a couple of things.
1. Thank you for advertising the Overwatch Wiki!
2. When deleting a discussion, how do you hide it from the discussions as a whole? Whenever I delete a discussion, I hate having to scroll past them over and over to see older posts. Again, could you tell me how to hide the deleted discussions, please?
Three weeks in and I still haven't gotten a response from the Wiki Staff... >_<
I really want people on the Overwatch Wikia to at least try out the forums, since I really want them to replace the discussions. But the problem is that the forums will not show up when going on the wiki community app. There's seriously no link for it anywhere. Also, when I linked the forums to the discussions, people said that when they clicked the link, it would lead to nothing.
Is there anyway to get the forums to show up anywhere on the mobile app for the wikia? Please, I really need to know.

Alright then. I'll contact them once I get home. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Not all wikis got the beta discussions. Seems like it was more popular series that got them (like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Pokemon, Overwatch, etc).
This is just a guess, but you could try contacting staff and requesting them to remove discussions from your wiki, at least until they're rolled out wikia-wide.
I'll try that. Any suggestions on which staff members to contact?

As someone said, not a lot people even know about this page), it could instantly get 200 more signs per wiki. This really won't get anywhere, unless there are like, 100'000 replies. And then this horde goes to the Contact page. Get serious and spread the word.
For the other way, I managed to recreate Forum's front page, even with polices pop-up window, but I need to know how make a button that both adds new page with a form and automatically makes&saves an edit, and make page build a good list of its subpages. Come on, I'm using personal CSS that someone made to fix thin pages, so one can come up with a way to work around this thing.
I tried to. Still no real response from anyone other than PaperCats.
I would like to add that "silent" nuking - being able to nuke posts without seeing the old text - is a very prohibitive measure against policy violation. That's in comparison to the current method of locking and indicating deletion while leaving the post's content visible, which has the effect of potentially aggravating user belligerence and leading to moderator attacks.
PS: Nuke this.
Already nuked. He's also been blocked for a month.
Overwatch Wikia admin here.
I'll gladly start this off with a list of reasons of why I loathe the Discussions Feature so much:
1. No use of wikitext.
2. No highlights, so it's impossible to notify the community of a very special announcement.
3. Even if there was something that I really wanted to talk about, that discussion would be forgotten and buried under other discussions in less than a day since there are no notifications.
4. The discussions are completely isolated from the main wikia, so almost nobody from the discussions ever edits at all. And I bet that most of them didn't even bother to look at it. I even chatted with a few people who had no idea how to edit an article or start a Live! Chat, even though there was a link for the Wiki Home.
5. It's completely unorganized. I hate seeing posts of people asking questions jumbled together with others posting random Overwatch videos.
6. The community. While there are some good and mature people, I've encountered users on the Discusssions that act like nine year olds, despite the fact that Overwatch is supposed to be rated T for Teen. People there tend to abuse the Report button on posts that aren't even negative, alot of the discussions are deleted for being off topic, drama tends to start up easily and most of the posts are just asking the same thing that was already posted about a few days ago. I cannot count how many times I've seen stuff of users asking about "Who's your favorite hero?", spamming unneeded emojis on nearly every post and sharing their Battlenet ID because they want people to play with. As an admin, having to manage the discussions makes me feel like an unpaid babysitter. It's almost as if some of the users there didn't even bother to read the Discussion Guidelines.
I don't know how the discussions appeared, but I want to be rid of them as soon as possible so I can replace them with Forums to build a bigger community that actually helps and interacts with the Overwatch Wikia. But the question is how.
Even though the Help:Discussions literally says that the discussions will activate if enabled, I don't see anyway to disable them through the admin tools.Multiple wikis still seem to have their forums still in tact, but I'm clueless as to how that is so. I've also noticed that the forums are disabled for the OW Wiki. If the forums are enabled, will they replace the discussions?
If any experienced users reading this know the answer as to how to disable Discussions, please tell me how to do it. I'd be very greatful. And some contributions to the Overwatch Wikia are always appreciated. :)
And one last note to the Wikia Staff if they're reading this: You should have the Discussions just be an option instead of having it replace the Forums and be shoved down everyone's throats. Wikia should just stay as a wiki oriented site rather than a watered down social media site doomed to be overrun by immature children that can't follow basic rules. You could lose alot of users if you continue on this path. Please reconsider what you are doing.
New edit: I really REALLY hope that the Wikia Staff makes this optional, since pretty much over 90% of the discussions on the English Overwatch Wikia have made zero edits to the wikia itself. Hell, alot of them haven't even bothered to look at the wikia itself. I even encountered a few discussions users that did not know how to access the Live! Chat. Because of this, the Overwatch Wiki's chat is always empty and it's rare to get edits from people that aren't admins.
