I used to run a wiki called the Fallout Conception Wiki, but it was suspiciously closed down. Why?

Discussions Insights!! Ha! More fancy ways to cover up the treachery of the MALICIOUS EXCUSES that you come up to MURDER the Special:Forum!! Why did you replace an easy-to-use, good-looking, highlightable platform with an ugly-looking social media rip-off that isn't even finished!? #BringBackForums
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Exactly.
And Wikia, I know what you're going to say next. You're going to come up with more LIES!!! What kind of Wikia has COWARDS for staff members? TELL US THE TRUTH!!
I already sent them the link via the Contact thing. What do they do? Nothing! They secretly admit that they're wrong but they're trying to use LIES and COVER UP to divert the argument! Sounds like...
I L L U M I N A T I C O N F I R M E D
That's because somehow Fandom has become ignorant and stupid! Wtf has happened to the world...
I also want a notifications system for Discussions, I forgot to mention that.
The final product will STILL be far worse than Discussions, because you can NEVER use custom categories like you can use in Special:Forum. And yes, it does matter, because like I said, no coding system in the world can make Discussions NOT look like a social media rip-off. It can only make it harder to realise that its design looks like a social media rip-off.
Great job guys, great job.
I have a suggestion for Discussions:
Staff already said that they are making Discussions closer to the wiki, so I can check that off my list of wants.
I want Discussions to have some kind of coding system, so you can, for example, mask links like this instead of having to go like https://community.wikia.com/wiki/User:Americhino <= this.
It's fine by me if it's not MediaWiki, but I'd prefer it to be an easy-to-learn language. HTML, for example.
What is the use? No coding system in the world can alter the fact that Discussions looks like a social media rip-off. There is also no way to quickly go to a specified "thread" in Discussions. If someone posts something in a followed post in Discussions, how does anyone know if that happens (I mean, no one person is online literally all day unless they are bots or they are humans that are stupid enough to assume that they can function normally for more than a day without sleep)? Trick question: They don't. Notifications is absolutely incompatible with Discussions, and therefore what the hell is the use of that function when the ugly-looking Discussions and the even uglier-looking "User Discussions" has no way of notifying you when someone has posted there, and by the time the user thinks of checking the things him/herself, days would've already passed. Whereas, the good old Special:Forum goes extremely well with Notifications, and even has the ability to highlight. Also, it actually looks like a well-designed, well-organized forum of which the basic functions are easy-to-use for newbies. There is so much evidence that Special:Forum is far better than Discussions in virtually every single way, yet Fandumb powered by Wikia completely ignores this and comes up with more LIES in an attempt to MISLEAD us. Doesn't this seem even a little bit suspicious? I thought so!
And the amount of suggestions they IGNORE by coming up with LIES!!!!!!!
Good point, all I meant from that post is that we should wait and see, I know that there are flaws with discussions, seeing as it is on my wikis. I know that it is not ready for release to all wikis, if it was this discussion would be useless :). There are concerns but I don't think scraping it should be a choice. I just think everyone should keep an open mind regarding the whole thing. I hope this clarifies.
Lmao. The Fandom Staff also told me a similar cover story when I contacted them! Pathetic!! They should start actually LISTENING to the public's opinions, because it seems as if they are ignoring us on purpose because they are doing something VERY SUSPICIOUS and they don't want us to find out!!
And the Staff already look suspicious, because they gave the public NO SAY on the matter, according to TheFoxyRiolu on the very first post.
I already did that lol. The pictures I attached were the responses.
Fandom always takes everything into consideration.
Yeah, right!!
If they took everything into consideration, why do they not give a CRAP about the hordes of enraged and confused users who absolutely HATE discussions. Have the Fandom Staff EVER thought of the fact that if they replaced Special:Forum with Discussions, many people will lose faith in them and less people will visit all their wikis? Well, due to the suspicious amount of excuses in their responses, it sounds like they have never thought of that scenario! Don't say "because that scenario will never happen," because it is likely. Very likely. Common sense and logic dictates that when a large group of people become enraged like this, they will lose faith in the higher power and start doing bad things like vandalism and spam.Discussions only make things worse, and only makes it easier for spammers and vandals (since trying to moderate ANYTHING in Discussions is very unfeasible)
I understood that Kocka explained serious issues behind the extension code. The point of Forum's bugs being parcel to the bevy of features it offers is not bad. My daily experience of Forum is still rocky because of failed replies, duplicate messages, interface bugs, notification lag and issues with kudos. I also lose long posts very easily on CC, while Discussions is stable on high-latency connections. Its not better and it could integrate the wiki color scheme more, but its a start.
Accidental duplicate posts can be dealt with by pressing the delete button, but Discussions, however, is very hard to moderate. There is no edit history at all, and there is no "this reply has been removed" notification for deleted messages. Also, Dysfunctions Discussions looks too much like a rip-off of a social media network, and that just doesn't match the style of the wikis of Fandumb powered by Wikia.

And WHY THE HELL would Discussions have to be in the search results? Clicking the Diep.io Wiki link and then clicking the Discussions link in the navbar is efficient enough. It's completely pointless, and I'm infuriated that people who are as experienced, logical, and intelligent as the Fandom Staff would make such a pointless and stupid decision.
So am I.

Oh.
I think this thread should be closed (I used Special:Contact anyway)
Surprised Wikia hasn't even noticed this petition on their own wiki yet also. I asked for the feature to be enabled on the wiki I admin (South Park Archives) I feel like the feature is useful and has potential, but it SHOULD NOT replace forums, that's a massive mistake on Wikia's part.
I completely agree, and so would all of the Diep.io Wiki (they call Fandom "Fandumb" because of the dumb decision Fandom made to override Forum with Discussions).
Bump. This is important because I am pretty sure other people face the same problems as I do, and this really needs to be fixed.
EDIT: Nevermind. I may be the only one experiencing this, but still, this MUST be solved. Also, doing the thing that I suggested can also reduce lag on people who somehow still have access to the threads.
