Okay, so, as far as I know, the general consensus is that the upcoming feature for Wikia, Discussions, sucks. Most users I saw in the comment section of the announcement blog showed discontent for the said upcoming feature, and the basic reasons I've seen are, more or less;

• Replacing a perfectly fine feature in favor for a pitiful attempt to be Twitter and Miiverse's love child. (THIS IS THE MOST PROMINENT REASON THAT I'VE SEEN BY THE WAY)
  • And Wikia saying they are forcing it into most of the popular wikias without actually saying they are, giving the general public practically NO SAY in the entire damn matter.
• Making an entirely new feature just for people using mobile, rather than making expansions to the existing forums to make them mobile-friendly.
• Apparently the function itself has its own problems, coming from someone who got to use the function)
  • Here's another one
    • Oh look another
      • Yet another. Could go on but I'd rather not.
• It's more proof that wikia is more interested in Fandom and mobile than actual functionality for the non-mobile users.

I understand if I sound repetitive or whiny, but I'm getting these from actual comments from the announcement blog (can be found here) and, from the general public, it seems like not too many people like this. Which is why I made this petition, which, like I said, could seem whiny, or over-reactive, but hear me out.

The petition I'm making is for all and any wikia users that can sign. This petition isn't necessarily asking to completely scrap the Discussions function altogether, but I'm asking for one of three possible outcomes.

Either;

1. Wikia keeps forums and adds Discussions as a Fandom-based thing instead of fully replacing the forums—a perfectly okay function with lots of importance in some communities—altogether.
2. Improve Discussions to give it more functionality (adding wikitext, removing blocked user reporting, etc) or make it so that it at least isn't bootleg Twitter/Reddit/Miiverse.
3. Or just scrap Discussions altogether.

So, if you are a wikia user who does not support Discussions, but does support one of the three points I made, than please sign your username in the thread below. It's about time someone from Wikia actually paid attention to what the general public wants.

I know I haven't really made too much of a mark on wikia at all, but...here goes. People say you should always start things with a joke, which I am doing. The joke is Ultimate Mario Fanon Wiki.

The wikia was created by a user named Ultimate Mario Gamer, who is notorious on another wikia where I edit, called Fantendo for being banned and making new accounts repeatedly, being rebanned each time and whatnot. A significant detail is that he seems to take a large interest in one of the bureaucrats, Arend, who UMG has attempted—and failed—to repeatedly antagonize for no real reason.

This wikia was made by UMG, and has had no real purpose related to actual pages. Instead, the wikia is basically a hole for UMG and his many other accounts/sockpuppets to blog about random bullshit (excuse my language :/), mostly concerning Arend. I can pretty much list the reasons why this wikia needs to be shut down;

• For the longest time, UMG and his many other socks were the only contributors, always contributing only in making ridiculous blogs about things like Arend being a part of Isis (not even kidding) and Arend causing supposed "deaths" of previous sockpuppets who were banned (also not kidding). It wasn't until mid-October until Arend, with the help of one of Fantendo's other bureaucrats, Lumoshi, was promoted and blocked almost all of the socks UMG had on the site. By looking at the block log, while it is small, almost all of the blocks were for UMG socks. There are a few exceptions that weren't banned; Ultimate Video Gamer and Ultimate Goomba Gamer are among the few socks that haven't been blocked for reasons unknown. UMG made this wiki specifically so his socks can try and antagonize Arend, which they continually fail to do. Some socks even go as far as directly referencing Arend, or impersonating other Fantendo users who have gotten involved with this situation.
• Furthermore, many other members of Fantendo have gotten involved besides Arend. The administration of the site mostly consists of Fantendo users who know of UMG and his BS; as such, most of his socks have been taken care of there, and the wikia is mostly losing its activity from UMG's socks. However, UMG (under Ultimate Video Gamer, who is also a bureaucrat) has banned some users who are trying to stop him; one example is Lumoshi, who I mentioned earlier, who was blocked for a year with the reason being—and I directly quote from the Block Log: (Refusing to promote the other Harrisons to Bureaucrat and therefore causing their deaths). These "Harrison" fellows are just some of UMG's socks who were banned and supposedly died because of this; UMG (under UVG) proceeded to ban Lumoshi for a freaking year for no reason really. I can't seem to find where it says that the "Harrisons" died, but, based off of several other blogs where Arend was blamed for the deaths of other blocked users who requested promotion but were turned down and banned, I'd say finding this one isn't too much of a big deal.
• The wikia doesn't even do anything page-wise. The purpose of wikias in the first place is to create pages and spread information; however, like I mentioned earlier, the site is almost entirely used for blogs and UMG's socks to screw around. And when the Wikia does end up having a page, stuff like this happens.

I'd also like to point out that I made a comment on the previously mentioned blog where Arend is claimed to be a terrorist, about why wikia hasn't noticed this site yet (no offense to the staff, I know they work hard). Ultimate Video Gamer recently responded with this;
"Wikia usually doesn't ban people for the blog posts they make unless the blog posts are threatening to harm someone. My blog post is the opposite since I made this blog post for justice. Arend deserves to be terrorized and brought to justice for his crimes against humanity. When will Arend worshipers like you realize that Arend is a terrorist? How do you explain the evidence in the blog post that absolutely proves without dought that Arend is a terrorist?"

So not only does this prove UMG is an idiot, but also a hypocrite; literally anyone who reads the blog (see here) would know that the blog is made solely to make Arend look bad, which anyone who knows better would know is absolute bullshit (once again, apologies for language).

So basically, I have only one request; take down the wikia and UMG. Ultimate Video Gamer's account can be found here, in which case I request he be globally blocked, as he has proven to not have done anything other then try to make Arend look bad and make as many sockpuppets as there are licks in a tootsie pop. Any other socks remaining on the UMF wikia can be dealt with by either Arend or someone else, as he has gained bureaucrat rights on the website.

Wikia is meant to be a place for community and information, not a safe haven for UMG to spew lies about a user he doesn't even know and do nothing else with. I appreciate those who wish to read this. Thanks a lot.
