I have a plan on my home Wiki where I have created a separate Update namespace to be used to store pages for patch/version notes for the video game the wiki is based on. Each page would have a navbox at the bottom to navigate between them, while the main navigation path would be from a landing page of sorts that would include a collapsed list of all of the pages sorted into either a Live or Beta subcategory.
What I'm not sure of though is if this would be a reasonable use to request and make use of the DPL3 extension. The two places I can see it being useful is updating the list of pages in the navbox which it pulls from the category it is in, and on the landing page. While the later could in theory instead use CategoryTree, it can't be styled though so it wouldn't work for a navbox, or even just being able to do much with it visually.
The main reason why I'm hesitant is the amount manual editing it would potentially solve doesn't seem to be worth the drawbacks that comes with making use of the extension. There's really only two manual edits you are saving by using DPL, one being editing the Navbox to add the new page and the other the landing page, both of which are rather simplistic tasks. I feel like to properly make use of DPL you would need a process that is more complicated and involved, but not overly so of course.
