Yup. I came up with the survey concept and helped write it.
For context, we conduct 1:1 interviews with Fandom users to help us understand user habits, thoughts on potential changes, and feedback on new features. Previously, recruitment for such interviews has been conducted manually and not very efficiently. By soliciting potential research participants through a global survey with our survey partner SurveyGizmo, we can gather an interview group that better reflects Fandom as a whole, rather than just folks who choose to participate in our Discord server.
It’s real. It’s how we’re fielding volunteers for some new user research we’re doing soon.
