I quite frequently use the Popular Pages feature at my wiki. I noticed it updates every tuesday, so every tuesday I check it.
I wanted to keep track of the popularity of some pages. When I make a new one, and it's good, I advertise it on some forums. After that I like to keep track of how long such a forum post keeps people coming to my wiki or that specific page.
Anyway, to get to point, every week I write down the visitors of certain pages. One particular page was Zhang Chunhua. On the 4 July update only six people checked it. One week later, on 11 July, it said 157 people checked it since the fourth of July. Today's update says that 0 people checked it since 11 July. Something similar happened with a page called Zhou Cang.
The topics I opened on various fora did all have an increase in visitors since 11 July, so why did these two pages suddenly have no visitors?
Then I checked how many page views there were for these two pages in the last four weeks. So I clicked on "page views, last 4 weeks", but these two pages, Zhou Cang and Zhang Chunhua, aren't listed there. That can't be right... right? Is this a bug?
And another question. If I visit one particular page 50 times, and nobody else visits the page this week, what will the Popular Pages counter say? That it was visited 50 times? Does it register my own visits to pages?
