At JBed's request, I ran pagegenerators.py (I assume this is the script TwoBears is talking about) with -search:"BDFF". However, I got the following error:
NotImplementedError: text search is disabled
I tried some other scripts (category.py and replace.py) with the -search parameter. All of them returned the same error. I could use text search a month ago; why isn't it working now?
Afraid I don't know. It works fine for me, so went ahead and removed the categories myself.
You need to go into the source code and remove them by hand (which you should probably do anyways; the category module is rather unreliable).
In order to do that, you'll want to go into Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing and select "Disable Category module (only applies if visual mode editing is disabled)" then save and open up the editor for the main page again. Then, instead of the category module, there will be links to the categories at the bottom of the page. From there you can remove [[Category:Characters]][[Category:Locations]][[Category:Object]] from the page to fix the problem.
Hope this helps.
It'd be nice if there was an option to disable it (especially during the rare event when a vandal starts using Anonymouse and those sorts of sites to evade bans and vandalize the wiki for hours on end) -- but I gotta admit, on some non-Wikia wikis that I don't have an account at, sometimes I'm just too lazy to make one just for a single spelling correction...and I doubt I'm the only one. So disabling anon edits for no real reason is a bad idea.
Unfortunately, I don't think roblox.com is one of the sites that's whitelisted for external images. If there's a way to edit the whitelist (a MediaWiki page perhaps?) that's different. You could then have this in your template:
roblox.com/thumbs/avatar.ashx?userId={{{userid|{{PAGENAME}}}}}&x=352&y=352
That would return a picture of their avatar. If they filled it out like {{userinfobox|userid=I'm A Person}} then you'd get the avatar of the user I'm A Person. Otherwise, it's just their username.
So yeah, if somebody knows how to whitelist, you can put that in the template somewhere, otherwise, can't help you, sorry :/
Edits: cleaning up the code so that it works. Forgot wikicode works in the new fora.
