Moving pages aren't real now

<p>I made a redirect on a Wiki (Weebipedia), and I have no idea where I go to edit it. The redirect is called "Kosaku Kawajiri" and redirects to the "Yoshikage Kira" Article. After I made it, I decided maybe I shouldn't have made it and wanted to repurpose the redirect, but I can't find it. I went to Special:ListRedirects, but I couldn't find it. </p>

<p>Can I redirect categories? For example I want to redirect category:cities of USA (1) to category:cities of the United States of America (2). Will the articles in 1 transfer to 2 when I redirect 1 to 2? </p><p>Like if I have New York in 1, if I redirect 1 to 2, will New York appear on 2. </p>

<p>So I want to make a link to transport me from the Hermitcraft Wiki to The One Wiki To Rule Them All (LoTR and The Hobbit wiki) but I dont know how. Can you please help me? </p>

<p>I'm trying to figure out how the #redirect work. </p><p>I've created a test page and a page called BS to simulate an acronym search. </p><p>When I try to search "BS" in the search bar, I don't see any suggestion dropping. When I enter the search, it bring me to the search result and I have to click the "Black Squirrel" page. </p><p>I've seen communities that when you search acronyms, it suggest the acronym page and redirect you to the full name page. </p><p>For example: when you search AOD and press enter, it will bring you to the Nex: Angel of Death Page. </p><p>I've looked at their code and I can't seem to figure what I did wrong. </p>

<p>With the new layout change, clicking a redirect link no longer displays "redirected from _____" under the main title anymore. </p><p>How are we supposed to access a redirect page if we need to edit it? Is there an alternate way to access a redirect page? </p>

<p>Hello, everyone, and thank you for clicking to help me. </p><p>I've recently become the administrator of this wiki, as I'm the sole active user for the moment, and there haven't really been that many contributors around. I've got a ton of work to do on there, really. </p><p>Today, I renamed some character pages from "Given Name" to "Given Name Last Name", just for detail's sake. The problem is, for some reason, all suggestions to other pages (i.e. the three little links at the bottom of the page that link you to other pages) still point to pages with "Given Name", which thankfully automatically redirect to the renamed pages. However, I was wondering if I could just delete the old pages, that is all of those that have only "Given Name", since they're merely redirecting pages now, or if that would affect the suggestions in a way (i.e. them not pointing anywhere anymore). </p><p>I don't know if I'm being clear, really, and I'm sorry if i'm not. Thanks in advance for any help provided. </p>

<p>Greetings WCC, I've come to a problem making redirects in my wiki. Perhaps this problem exists due to improper structure of the wiki still, here goes nothing... </p><p>I wanted a 'page A' to redirect to a 'Category B' and use that 'Category B' sort of as a Navigation page to articles within that 'category B'. However the 'page A' if I redirect to that 'category B', the 'page A' is automatically added to that 'category B' as well, creating loop and wasting space/causing confusion. Is this just misuse of the Category special page or there's a way around that problem? (Page A, Category B) </p><p>Thank you for the attention. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’m having a problem with my wiki. Search bar searches for pages that contain redirects to a page-section no longer find the searched for string, instead they list the page the item is on, not the item. Worse still, selecting the page found just goes to that page instead of going to the section name that was wanted.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have a page Location Bosses, with sections named after/for the individual bosses they contain. I have created a separate redirect page for each of these bosses using the boss name used for the section headings.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">For example the 24^th boss on the ToC list is Norns, so there is a corresponding page called Norns which only contains: #REDIRECT [[Location_Bosses#Norns]]</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><figure class="article-thumb tleft show-info-icon" style="width: 180px"> <figcaption> </figcaption></figure>When I enter the letters nor, into the search bar I would expect Norns (amongst others) to appear on the drop down list but instead of this Location Bosses takes its place on the list. This feature worked fine a couple of weeks ago but seems to have stopped working within the last few days. <p>So, I have two wikis, one for a book series, and one for the author in general. How can I make a redirect page that directs users from one wiki to the other. </p><p>I'm not talking about links, I know how to us those. </p>

<p>#REDIRECT [[w:c:animanga:{{{page}}}]] doesn't seem to work so I'm trying to use javascript to redirect the page, the function works but I want to to execute during the onload event  but how do I get the onload into the <body> </body> tags of the page? </p>

<p>I noticed wikia contributers (possibly the staff I work with) uploaded a TON of new character art and wiki pages, however... These pages were just floating on their own and not connected to the actual pages you can reach by the drop down menu (Wild Season, Characters). </p><p>

<p>I started the Cocopuff wiki, and it didn't make me an admin. Are founders not admins? If not, how do I become one? If so, where's the "admin button"? </p>

<p>I have noticed that when AutoWikiBrowser tries to load some redirect page it automatically goes to the page it redirects to, instead of that redirect page. Therefore, I wonder can AWB fix all DoubleRedirects here? </p>

<p>I just tried to make a redirect page in the Source editor like I have dozens of times before, but just now #REDIRECT is changed into a numbered list (i.e.  1. REDIRECT) and the page does not redirect as it should. I also noticed that if I edit an older page with a correct redirect, the "1." is added in Visual mode. </p>

<p>There's an issue at powerrangers:Special:DoubleRedirects. The Gosei Blaster entry has been solved, it redirects to Category:Arsenal (Goseiger), but the list still shows it as linking to Arsenal (Goseiger) when it should've been crossed off like the entries below it. Quasar Launchers, Magna Blaster, Astro Cycles and Capsular Cycle are all crossed off correctly, so why not Gosei Blaster? </p>

I've tried creating a page with a similar name to another, but only to act as a redirect, however, I wanted it to be a hard redirect (if that's the correct term) i.e. I want it to automatically send someone to the correct page rather than having the redirect page load up for them to then select it. </p><p>I hope I'm making this clear. <p>Hi! </p><p>I'm currently making a Wikia for a podcast. I'm planning to list all of the themes mentioned in the podcast (right now with a simple bullet points list) on a separate page for each episode. </p><p>My problem is that when I try to type in a phrase in the search box to the right in order to find the content listed on the episode page, it does not show up. Say for example, "World Cup 2012", then I want to get a search result pointing to the episode-page where this is written. Currently, all I can search is names of pages (episode names for example). What can I do in order to get more detailed results? </p><p>Would really appreciate any help! </p>
