I wish we had bots to reply on Discussions (on all wikis, but especially here on Community Central) just like we have on Reddit. I mean, good real bots that sign as bots (and not like those smart-ass users that manually copy-paste AI generated answers on threads—those should be banned as soon as spotted)... So that we wouldn't need @Oot42 to drop perfectly fitting replies like this one.
For example, I'm a mod on the Kingdom subreddit, and I've set up the bot to make things easier for me. Like, here the bot replied to a post that hadn't followed the guidelines of the sub, explaining what was wrong, and automatically locking it. Then, when the same user remade their post following the guidelines, the bot replied to it with a hint to other users that could possibly reply to that new post.
The good thing there is that local admins can do all that with a syntax that's as simple as parser functions.
Back in 2021 we had a good bot here on CC that worked alike. What happened to it, specifically? And what happened to that general effort from admins here on CC to fulfill that need? (Maybe you've heard of something that I have not.)
How do I add CSS to Discussions page (example.fandom.com/f), because it ignores Common.css and Fandomdesktop.css.
This is something that has been bugging me for a very long time and apparently many other users as well. Once you make a vote in a discussion poll, there is apparently no way to change it. This can be a real problem for those who make a mistake when voting and/or change their minds about a vote.
While I have been told that discussion polls should not be taken so seriously, it still feels unfair and very stressful that this is the case. Moreover, there are instances where a discussion poll is an important tool for wikis. For example, some wikis use discussion polls when deciding whether to change an image in an infobox. What is more, other important decisions would require the use of discussion polls before they could be implemented.
At one point, there was a glitch that allowed users to change their votes. All they needed to do was sign out and then vote again. However, this glitch was recently patched it seems. There is also this interesting code that can be put into a wiki https://dev.fandom.com/wiki/AjaxPoll
I myself, however, have not seen this in action so I do not know if it is legit. Comments regarding it do not appear favorable.
Either way, I thought I would see what other users think about this. I have noticed that many others have already brought this up and hope that they will write their thoughts in the comments. Furthermore, I hope the admins, bureaucrats, and overall owners of Fandom do not mind me bringing this up.
Hello, um...I want to delete every post I've made on any wiki in Discussions, but I'm not a mod, so I can't.
Who do I ask to do this for me?
Thank you.
Honestly I'm probably just in denial about a wiki that closed 2 years ago 💀
But I was wondering if the Discussion pages are stored anywhere after a wiki is closed or if they're deleted for good and can't even be accessed by the Community Central admins.
The sweeney todd wiki has no discussion page and i have no idea how to add one, can someone with more experience do it? no idea which category this should go in so i will just put it in general
Hello.
I am writing this to express my side of a difficult story that began on another wiki, WikiTubia. One day, I made a comment on an article about a YouTuber who committed suicide years ago over being bullied. I do not wish to repeat the comment as to protect any readers of this story from being offended or hurt, but I had written my opinion on a perpetrator based on my research that they had played a role in the incident. I later learned that, apparently, what I had said goes against a rule that I vaugely remember reading at one point or another. I occasionally remember reading the rules of sites and I understand that there are certain things that would violate said rules. However, I believe that what I said is not an act of violation and does not contain the kind of material that the rule prohibits. Part of me feels that the representatives at WikiTubia have misinterpreted my actions, and I do not believe I have done anything wrong.
I am finding it kind of difficult to continue talking about this, so I am going to leave it here for now. Thank you for your consideration.

I just need to fix the right hand box, there are some articles there I don't want. You know, like the one on here is titled "EXPLORE COMMUNITY CENTRAL".
Like that one, except on my own wiki. I know I've edited it before because stuff is there, but for the life of me I cannot find a help article describing how to change it. There is no edit icon on this page. What do I do?
Hey all
Just wondering if there is a feature on the discussions side of a wiki that lets mods grant a user access to edit a certain post for a set time(beyond the 24 hours a user can already edit their post for) or even indefinite amount of time?
How am I supposed to message a Wiki Fandom Moderator, I have been trying to find one because my Discussion posts have been being deleted.
Is it possible to see the results of a poll without voting in it yourself?
When i tried posting my post with an image, it wouldnt load then it posted at least 10 copies. Fortunately i was an admin and deleted all the copies.
I have looked everywhere but I cannot find a way to update the side bar. Most of the old suggestions on this refer to outdated shortcuts. Can someone help me out here?
When I comment I get that red one, also my account has been activated for more than 4 days
I already tried many times but I can't send messages :(
Please can you tell me so that I can make a comment?
I contribute to a wiki with quite a few active editors, but it doesn’t have a discussion page, but I made a wiki with me as the only contributor and it does have one. I’m wondering if the owner of the wiki i contribute to turned off discussion or something, and how they did it if they did.
Nevermind, I figured it out xP
I want a another chance I listen to the warnings . Can a bad user or admin is a witch-hunting? Or a thread moderators is abuse their power or rights tho?
Here is the example what to B1bI1kai in villain wiki: or Merci1 imao. ,
This is witch-hunting or mico-adminship that my opinion. And I’m very sorry😭
