After I came back from a vacation to Japan, I went back to checking Fandom wiki to find out that my adoption request for the Puella Magi Wiki has been declined because I got promoted to admin to a wiki that I don't even recognize. I have no idea what this "Harmonybox Sprunki Wiki" is at all. In fact, I've never interacted with that wiki nor did I ever have an idea that said wiki even existed until I saw my request declined. So I checked the wiki since I was confused about what's up with this and why I was promoted to that wiki. I don't even know who the person who promoted me was; they're a complete stranger to me. I don't remember interacting with them in any wikis for did I ever regard them as a friend. I just randomly got promoted for no reason.
Not to mention the fact that I spent a lot of time trying to contribute to the wiki I was trying to adopt, for 8 days (before my vacation) now that my summer has started and I have more free time. Although I had other things to do than sitting and using my computer, I really tried to work on the wiki I've been trying to adopt.
I'll have to wait until July 29 to be able to try adopting the wiki again, but by then, summer will be about to end for me and I'll have to prepare for my senior year (12th grade) by that time. And by then, I will have less time to adopt the wiki, which makes this a hassle.
Though I can't adopt a wiki if I got promoted on another wiki recently, what irks me is that this happened on a random wiki that I had no idea about and I've never interacted with. I don't even know about that Sprunki/Incredibox mod or AU. Great, and now I have to wait till the end of the summer to try again, if I even have the time to try again (which I doubt).
Not only that, but I've seen a very toxic and homophobic person on that wiki who has been making rude comments/replies to others and using slurs, and overall being toxic. There aren't any admins to deal with them, which makes this unfortunate. They've been like this on that wiki for months.
I don't really know how to resolve the problem, though I might try to contact the person who promoted me on that random wiki to clear a bit of confusion, and maybe also contact the person who read my adoption, to resolve the matter. Please give me help on how to resolve this, though.
