I was banned for having a meme as my profile picture. According to @Kettlon i had no intention of using discussions productively.
Edit: I learned it was an accident with the message filter.

Wait for Kettlon to respond to your message so you can see what you posted. Hijacking old messages to spread false info (that you believed to be true in your defense) will only work against you.
You can report them here. Admins are not allowed to block users for vague reasons. However, you should consider whether or not you intend to participate in that wiki in the future.
If you don't want to participate in that wiki, report them straight away to Fandom, and wait for what Fandom has to say about that.
If you do want to participate in that wiki, I'd suggest waiting a few days for them to respond to your appeal (made a couple of hours ago), so they can better explain the reason for your block. This is important because, if it was a mistake and you report them immediately without trying to listen to them, they may unblock you, but you'll start a bad relationship with one of the admins of that wiki. So wait a few days (since you've never done anything there, you're not going to die waiting a couple more days), and if they don't give you a reasonable answer, then report them to the staff.
Note that local admins and Fandom staff can see deleted posts. You cannot see them, but they can. If you start your report saying that you never posted there, and Fandom staff check the deleted messages and see that you did post there, your report may be used against you.
Thanks a lot for the help!
Nobody should be blocked infinitely on their first offence, and their first ever edit or post, unless it's a very serious breach of the rules. In which case it should be clearly mentioned in the block summary. Admins are supposed to always assume good faith after all, even more so when it comes to new users.
So yes, this is power abuse.
Unfortunately, I see this happen way too often though.
To be fair, all of Kettlon's messages are an year ago.
OK, here's what happened. The first link I typically look at when browsing the Pokemon Wiki is the Discussions Abuse Filter hit logs, and found your entry to be on the "Prevent" list. The filter was there to reduce our thread-mods time from dealing with such posts. As your first post on that Wiki was a thread which was completely off-topic, I assumed that you were never going to post with good intentions, which was why I blocked you.
What I didn't realise was that the filter triggered and the post was added at the same time. I thought it would happen on two separate occasions, like you were trying to repeatedly add the content over and over, when that's clearly not the case.
I agree that my block was rather impulsive, and I won't be active today, so I'll unblock the account now. Still, I suggest you read our wiki's Communication Policy first, and listen to our mods for any wrongdoings. Enjoy using our forums.
Just seen the user's message on the community wiki after unblocking the account, and notified the user to change their password immediately. The way that message's been written, looked like someone else got into their account and posted intentional wrongdoing which was caught by the filters, the thread-mods, and eventually, me.
So it was a spam alert+false positive for unrelated shii?
So it was true positive for unrelated spam.
Its actually kinda insane that someone was able to use my account to post messages without me even having a clue
Yep, but this is why account security, whether it's fandom or any other site that requires an account, is still important to the present day, as it eases responsibility on not just you but the wiki's staff team also.
I'm glad this matter has been resolved.
What do you think?
