Change display of /Pages

Hey together :)

We just created a second wiki, we want to translate and then request interlanguage link, to link them. We know there isn't another wiki out there, so that won't be a problem. (Yes, there isn't a design applied now, except "blank")

We thought it would be easier for maintenance, to keep the same structure and use the Export and Import function, then get to work and translate it.

So.... with Displaytitle, it's easy to translate "Advanced Gold Mine" into "Fortgeschrittene Goldmine" in german. And: languagelinks would look like: [[de:{{PAGENAME}}]] - so it would be quite easy.

My Question:

Is there a way, to rename the small backlink - except changing the "Main-Page"?

The page titles are usually translated into the local language and not just the display titles. This helps SEO, internal search and also internal linking. Otherwise you would always have to link from the German page to an English title and that is always a lot more work for editors.

I really don't think that's a good idea.

Pagenames should be in the language of the wiki. For SEO, for the ease of the editors, and for maintenance as well. Also for the internal search, autocompletion in editors, and probably lots of other things I didn't even think about yet.

I will change that then, keeping the structure but with translated page names :)
