I found a work around, I had to add a <br> to the cell of the template. But the table at the bottom of my sandbox, that frying pan icon was almost as it it was valigned-top and I couldn't get it to go middle like the rest of the cells, until I added the <br> to the cell of the template.

This wiki always has done that, I am having trouble getting any changes that are to locked pages (which are all/most infboxes) or require admin css editing, my template/infobox is just conforming to "their" current standing infoboxes or more metabox table styles. I am already moving for lots of changes on this wiki, and they are pushing back, but I doubt you want my life story.

The table content is vertically aligned by default.

It happens the frying pan icon has been automatically put in a paragraph (P tag). By default, Fandom adds a 24px margin-bottom on article paragraphs. That's why your icon was misaligned.

Paragraphs are automatically generated when breaking a line. Just don't break one when adding an item in your table cell.

I don't know what that means.
