Gallery Bug??? Is ''Wednesday'' a special formula to display minutes since being posted???

Hello, I have a strange question. I tried adding an image of Wednesday Addams from the show Wednesday into a gallery, but strangely the italicized word ''

''Wednesday'' appears to be functioning as a "minutes since posted formula???? I am so confused.

But yet when I click save page it shows up as this???

It updates minute by minute since it was posted. It doesn't seem to be affecting italicized Wednesday outside a gallery so is this some obscure bug?

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong lol. I really need the series title to be italicized.

It's kind of amusing watching it update. Btw it updates even without refreshing the page, so it's a live timer which honestly I didn't even know was possible on Fandom.

Weird... yes, it seems to replace Wednesday with something with a "timeago" class. Not something I've seen before. And it's done by the mediawiki parser, not any custom JavaScript on the wiki, so probably a bug.

Anyway, I fixed it by adding nowiki tags around the word.

This is really weird.

I cannot reproduce this on another wiki, so it seems to be something with your wiki. But disabling all scripts with "safemode=1" doesn't seem to help.

This is what happens in the source:

But then again, I cannot reproduce this, and I tried it on two different wikis.

That is very strange. If disabling all scripts doesn't prevent it from happening then that means it's nothing in my common.css interfering with it, right? Should I just report this bug to staff then? The nowiki will work for now at least.

This has nothing to do with your css. CSS cannot do such things. This can only be done with javascript.

"safemode=1" disables all custom scripts, like what you import in ImportJS, or any custom javascript in Common.js (which you don't use anyway), so this means it is caused by some script from Fandom's side. The strange thing here is that I cannot reproduce it on other wikis, even if I copy/paste your exact code.

Yes you should report this. Maybe include a link to this discussion.

If you do so, please keep us updated, as I'm really curious what is happening here.

I can now reproduce it on my test wiki.

It's somehow connected with the filename.

It's only caused when time words are in the filename and in the caption.
It doesn't need to be the same words in filename and caption.
It only happens for italic caption, and no matter if using wikitext or html for it.

This is certainly the strangest bug I've seen in a long time...

Interesting. Yes that is very strange. I'm glad you managed to figure out the cause of it.
