Some points to think about:

• The wikipedia article (if that's the right one) only uses tiny images declared as fair use, which is usually a sign that there are no known free licensed options around.

• The user who uploaded this 17 years ago seems to be inactive since 2015.

If you clearly state on your site that the image is not made by you, and you say who the author is, you'll be fine. The problem happens when, in your mind, you think "I'm making an homage for the creator!", but you end up using the image in a misleading way that makes your visitors think you produced that image. That's usually the type of behavior that triggers creators to seek their rights. Otherwise, if it's indeed a clear and honest homage, no creator would complain about. It really depends on the way you use it.
