It is recommended by this support article that you have at least 50 pages on your wiki before promoting it; you have 3 pages. This is so viewers have more to look at and it boosts your wiki in search results.

I myself personally believe that it also helps potential visitors to learn more about what the topic of the Wiki actually entails whilst also serving to formulate a clearer picture as to how you (as the Founder of the Wiki) want the pages to be formatted on the Wiki.

For future reference, when you promote a wiki, you need to answer the following questions according to this blog:

Your promotion should also be at least 150 words long so it abides by the discussion guidelines. Once your wiki reaches the page requirement to make a promotion for it, you may want to keep this in mind if you want to make a new promotion :)
