I submitted my adoption request over a week ago, and there's still not a response, I've checked, and not a single request has been responded to this month. Is Fandom closed in August? Is something going on? Fandom is usually very good and quick with their responses, and it's unusual that not a single adoption request in August has been responded to yet. I'm sorry if I seem impatient but surely there's a reason for this?

My fear about that idea though would be to make it easier there should be a pending adoption requests category (The regular one is filled with both complete and incomplete ones so it could take forever to find newer ones) for new adoption requests with these being moved from the pending category to the completed one which all completed ones would need to be moved to (If it’s too much to move every adoption request ever made to it then at the very least just move the newly created ones between these two categories). In addition to that they’d also need the users making adoption requests to be comfortable with using the Matrix so that way every Wiki they’ve ever contributed to could be inspected in order to see whether or not they were currently blocked (knowingly or unknowingly but they wouldn’t be penalised if it was unknowingly) from any Wikis at the time of making their adoption requests.
Sidenote: Ignore my primary concern as I didn’t notice that but new adoption requests could be found here. Despite this though my secondary concern still stands though.
Sidenote 2: I’ve passed this suggestion on to Sansse here whilst also ensuring to provide an outline of the Pros and the Cons that I can see within it.
