On my side, putting text on bold on Discussions (no matter the wiki) has currently no effect — on editing or when published. The text is marked as bold in the tool box but is displayed as normal. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

It's a little bit better in light mode, but not really much...

The weird thing is the font used on Discussions seems to be the same than on the Wiki namespace, where it can appear as bold.
What browser are you using?
I have a suspect. It appears that Fandom has some CSS declaration that resets some properties for many elements. It looks like this:
a, abbr, acronym, some, huge, list, of, elements {
border: 0;
font: normal normal normal 100% inherit;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
vertical-align: baseline
}The one on "font" basically makes everything in normal font, turning off bold, italic, underline etc., but on my Chrome it's marked as invalid and doesn't take effect, probably because the "inherit" keyword can't be used as part of a values list. Perhaps some browsers do allow it.
> What browser are you using?
I'm using Firefox 115.13.0esr.
> but on my Chrome it's marked as invalid
My browser also marks the font declaration as invalid in this rule.
> makes everything in normal font
Italic in Discussions actually works for me.
"I'm using Firefox 115.13.0esr."
Same :)
But is was the same in earlier versions for what I recall.
That css reset mentioned above is the same that is loaded in both discussions and in the wiki part, but bold works perfect in the wiki. It's only in discussion posts where it's almost not visible. It also works fine in MessageWalls btw.
Hello everyone,
My problem is fixed ✅ Thanks again for your replies!
I use the NoScript browser add-on and it blocks "nocookie.net" by default — that is needed for loading the Rubik font files. So you simply have to allow the url in the add-on.
By the way, i share the original reply from the Fandom staff, that helped me to find a solution actually (and will fix the problem for someone else maybe):
I believe [your "bold" text problem] can happen if you have installed the 'Rubik' font directly on your device - but have maybe only half of the font styles, or an old version of it. I suggest checking to see if you have Rubik installed and consider removing it.Another thing. I experienced the same than Oot42: the difference between normal & bold text is not so great actually. So I chose to force the default font (Nato in my case) to override any other. I think Nato has actually a lighter normal font, that makes the bold text bolder ^^ (Rubik remains a good choice to me though - since i find it highly readable.)
I also use NoScript, but I have nocookie.net allowed.
Still it shows different to me than in MessageWalls or the wiki part.
It's not that is doesn't show bold at all, but just only very vaguely, as you can see in my screenshots above.

That's confusing indeed 🧐 I note i didn't see bold text on Discussions & Page comments only.
@Pediacax Stop necroposting! You just came and already did it many times.
What do you think?
