Maybe even non-admins.
I didn't think I'd ever consider resorting to such drastic measures, but the couple days since the announcement of the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection have been hell. People are using scripts to wreak havoc on hundreds of pages at a time, including really important ones unrelated to the collection. People are wiping pages and creating new ones because they didn't figure out that you can move pages. And that's just the well-intentioned ones. There's also a targeted attack by trolls spreading misinformation all over the site. I've been trying to catch up to all the fixes that have to be made, but the crap is proliferating at triple the rate that I'm able to address things. If any one of these factors were absent, I'd feel somewhat confident that things will blow over after about a week. Now I'm not so sure.
The only other big collection containing previously Japan-only material was The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. I was able to get basically everything I needed to done on the day of the announcement. AAIC has been a whole different animal. I've done basically nothing I intended to do. Putting out the fires has taken up all my time.
The collection releases in September. Now, maybe it sounds unreasonable to lock the wiki for that long. Hell, I almost think it should persist a couple of months past September. I'm so tired. This is actively disrupting my life.
