The badges plugin is just what it is at this point. Fandom was never the author of that code, and the original upkeepers have abandoned it. So at this point whatever still works is what we've got.

I think that each wiki should list the available badges and their meaning, since the badges are not the same from wiki to wiki.

@Oot42, just know that Fandom staff won't do it. They usually only have time to publish about the GOOD news. But don't worry, they do have a spare time to fix your bad news if you wen't into too much details, lol.

From what I can tell, the content is still there. It just doesn't get displayed on hover. I don't know if the extension originally used CSS to display the content but it seems like this should be fixable via CSS.

Edit: Here is a quick fix.

IIRC, when this issue was mentioned here, I'm almost sure I checked the entire DOM, and the popup was indeed missing, not being generated. Before, it would appear in a separate div under the body (.mediawiki > .popover > .popover-body > .profile-hover), where it would never be constrained by any overflow rule of the page. Now, someone (no idea who) has probably fixed(?) the script to make the popup to be generated again, but inside the achievements module, in the right rail, where it's facing this little CSS problem. But I might be wrong, in the sense that the popup had just been moved to the right rail, and I failed to find it there.

Either way, nice catch and workaround. I hope Fandom kindly adds this tweak to their default CSS, so all wikis may have their badges properly working once again.
