It's because the wiki's url had changed, most likely.

Although, Fandom Staff have the authority to redirect a wiki without the changing the url, but I don't know if they'd do that

You can request staff to add a redirect to your wiki with arguments, but the redirect has to make sense (staff probably won't add a redirect of potato.fandom.com if you want it to redirect to disney.fandom.com). It is also possible a wiki has moved or a wiki has merged to a different address
