While I understand that article comments are still a pain in the # for mobile users because they have to switch to the desktop layout to be able to comment, AND there is no indication that they can do so in the comments section itself; I have failed to understand why is adding an image to a comment so hard for some people.
Isn't the "picture" icon below the comment box intuitive enough for most cultures around the world?
I've seen quite a few comments of people asking how to post images on comments, and I cannot understand why is it hard.
Is there any bug that's restricted to some types of phones? On iOS, when I tap on the icon, I see a list of 3 options:
Photo Library
Take Photo
Choose File
The 1st opens the Photos app, the 2nd activates the camera, and the 3rd opens the Files app. Are Android and chinese phones too diferent from this?
Did you find it hard the first time you added an image? If so, why?
I just wish comments to be more accessible to everyone.
