The people who use discussions here are just normal users and can't do anything about this-

They're working on the bug, just give them a little more time

The new layout have been on Fandom for months, it is just the Discussions which got updated with the new layout to match the rest of the site with FandomDesktop. Complaining here won't make any difference though.

Friend, Fandom is complicated, and the people who are trying to fix the bug might be having a hard time, give it time, a few days to at least a week.

Either wait for it to be fixed or don't use discussions to view notifications while it is annoying there is nothing you can do.
