I'm trying to search for something like [[PageName|DisplayText]], where I use the article name and display text for an internal link — I want to see if creating redirect pages from DisplayText to PageName will be productive by finding out how often [[PageName|DisplayText]] is used within the whole wiki.
I've tried using advanced Google search markup, like "[[PageName|DisplatText]]" site:wiki.fandom.com, which should search for [[PageName|DisplayText]] in any site with that domain, but it doesn't seem to have worked. (I think the vertical line "|" and/or square brackets interfere with the search markup somehow. (If there aren't any results for the search, it says so, but it just brought up pages as if I hadn't used the markup (or as if there were results), and none of them had the searched-for code in them.))
Is there a way, through a Dev Wiki script or not, that would allow me to search for exact matches of wikitext source code within all of a wiki's articles at once?
Thank you in advance!
