What are the signs of global blocked users that are visible on their profile?
Hey there! Please edit the title of your post and make it more specific. Titles such as 'Help' give others no indication of what might be going on. Thanks!
Isn't the content enough?
AutoDMod is a bot, so it could miss trigger sometimes.
Their user profile (not userpage) is usually blanked, a "Blocked" tag would appear in their user profile no matter what, and in their contributions, a blue or red box would say "This user has been globally blocked across FANDOM, or by user choice"
It's for a local infinite block, not a global block
To see banner for global block you need to go to Contributions tab of their profile page.
...and the bot was correct, because your title was lacking.
Local blocks would have a notice on the contributions page saying the full details - who blocked them, how long, and why. Global blocks have a notice in the same place, but in that case, it just says "This user is currently blocked across the FANDOM network", all other details are only visible to the blockee, and staff. In both cases, the "Blocked" tag always appears on their masthead. In both cases, the user can still view wikis and read just fine, they simply can't edit or post.
If the contributions shows a notice in red saying "This account has been disabled globally by user choice, or by FANDOM", then it means just that. The blocked tag won't appear on their profile masthead in such cases, and they'd be unable to even sign into or restore the account at all. This is usually done only if the user disables their own account by choice, or for COPPA violations; or if they were globally blocked for in indefinite period, then the account will automatically be disabled after a few months.
