Adding links doesn't seem to work :/
No, and that's because I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO. God...
Please calm down and stop swearing. Your original post simply said it wouldn't work. How am I supposed to know that means you don't know how to do it?
If you are unfamiliar with how to upload videos, I suggest you read this page at some point as it should explain everything. If you are trying to upload an actual file from your local computer, it needs to be a WEPM file. Once you have converted it to a WEBM, you can then go to Special:Upload to add the video to the wiki. If you are trying to add a video from a supported site like YouTube, then go to Special:NewFiles and click the "add a video" button. Enter the URL of the video and click "add". Unfortunately, this feature is down right now so you may have to wait a few days.
As for the other thread, please reply there and explain what part confuses you.
I had no idea God was a swear word...
Your links simply don't help. A tabber doesn't form.
To add a video from YouTube, go to here, and then click the "ADD VIDEO" button, it would open a prompt asking for a supported site video link, which is YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, etc. After that, just add the video like a normal image file would do, for example:
[[File:A random video uploaded to youtube]]
Don't need any special file extension or anything
To add a video via uploading files, try to do what Andrewds1021 said
Edit: And read this page, the instructions there applies for .mp4, .avi, and other video formats
Bless you <3
You should credit Andrewds more, he explains it all to you, while I just straighten it out
....Right, which I did, along with an apology-
Has the video import feature been fixed now?
I'd like to say so...but no. You see, I'd like to add a video here:
What do you think?
