To answer Tamirobson's question about how to check if a wiki is restricted to autoconfirmed users, you just check the user group rights. If you look at the rights for the group "user", you will see "edit", "posts:create", and "threads:create" (to name a few). For "autoconfirmed", you see just "autoconfirmed", "editsemiprotected", and "transcode-reset". Now compare that to the list for Wings of Fire Wiki which we know has editing restricted to autoconfirmed users.

The same list is on Special:ListGroupRights, just in case you don't remember the API query form.
