Can any of you tell me why?
What do you mean "tag" a page? Do you mean category
I mean tag a page on the discussions area. Like on the Wii Sports Wiki when I wanted to tag a page titled, "Abe". It wouldn't work.
Interesting. Can you link the page?
You can even tag a single character page on discussions. Try again after reloading the page, see if that works
@Headquarter8302 it has been happening for a while now.
@HumansCanWinElves this is just an example.
I want to know why this is occurring and is a new feature. Another person this has happened to is @Nicholas009 who was on Wii Sports Wiki and asked the question. I told him I could ask on community central. So, I did.
I get it's an example, but since I can't think right now of a page I know with less than four characters in it's name, I would like if you give me the link to it so I can try myself and see.
Alright, I have found a page with a short name and I couldn't tag it either. All you can do now is reporting the bug to Fandom staff: https://fandom.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Okay, try tagging pages called "Ai" or "Abe on Wii Sports Wiki. To see that tagging 4 characters pages type in Matt.

@HumansCanWinElves okay.
Yeah I noticed the new increased limit to minimum of 4, but UCP is so buggy, I just figured it was one of the many bugs I need to get used to.
I run into this all the time at the Animanga wiki. We have article/tags like OP, ED, dub, and sub that we like to use as tags. It used to be that only OP/ED had problems, but recently Dub and Sub have problems...
The workaround is to create a redirect name with 4 or more characters to the short article name and type the redirect name to get the tag to appear.
What do you think?
