How do you import JS

I do not understand how to import JS, I want to use Ajax Poll thing because sadly, polls are gone and I want to add back the poll to the main page.

Is this how you do it (without the comment thing that I guess will tell me later what the script does) :

Just put that ajaxpoll part in MediaWiki:ImportJS

And just the ajax poll part

Then, follow the rest of the steps!

You can put the comment as well, it doesn't hurt.

Just to make sure you know, this goes on the page named MediaWiki:ImportJS and it can be only edited by admins.

Then you can create a poll on Discussions and make it to show up on a wiki page.

Minor correction. The comment won't hurt as long as your list isn't long. There is a length restriction on the contents of this page. If you go beyond it, none of the imports will work. It is very high but should you find yourself in this situation, removing the comments would help.
