On the psychology wiki there are no active admin but i dont wanna adopt it either, i just wanna create a dboard and become a dmod. it wont let me edit the adopt the wiki page and there is already a request there anyways, and i dont rlly want to be admin there anyways. help.
Wikis sometimes can get empty, but some people still read it. So, trying to adopt the wiki that is pretty stable like that will be fruitless, but trying to close that wiki will be more fruitless
Could you link to the existing adoption request? I think it might be old as it isn't listed in the active requests list. Is this the page you are talking about when you say "the adopt the wiki page"? The reason you cannot edit and the procedure for making an adoption request for wikis that have previously been adopted are both explained in the instructions. Please be sure to read them. Lastly, If there are not admins, then there is no other way for you to become a discussions mod and thus no other way for you to add a Discussions category. Think about how chaotic wikis would be if every random user could add any board they wanted on their own whim.
