How do you get a auto message like when someone joins and edits, and you say hello. I want that in my wiki, and what are the different borders? And if you can, can you give me the wikitext?
What "different borders"? As for the automated message, that tool is not available on UCP wikis. Only wikis on the legacy platform have it.
Like borders for templates, images whatever. Like a template that has a square with a gradient inside.
As for the template, something like this, I assume?
<div style="border: 3px solid black; background: linear-gradient(to right, red, green, blue); padding: 5px; text-align: center; color: white; width: 500px;">
<span style="font-size: 200%;">TEMPLATE TITLE</span>
<span style="font-size: 110%;">information about the template and whatnot</span></div></center>
Oh epic thanks
You should try to avoid center tags since they are outdated. To center the div, setting the margins to "auto" should get the same effect.
Ok, thanks for advice. I’m trying a lot of wikitext.
Because the second question is answered, I'll answer the first question. You can:
Use a bot (Most favorable)
Do it manually, like me in other wiki (Least favorable)
Use an extension on the Developer Wiki (Hard to find), like this
Bots also require some form of Fandom permission and so do scripts from the Fandom Developers Wiki. Plus, anything from the Fandom Developers Wiki is likely to be JS so that is sort of the same as your 2nd list item.
What do you think?
