<p>DPLForums should be enabled by default on all UCP wikis, though some of them have the Forum namespace archived so they'll need to request reopening it. It's not really "switching" from Discussions since the two features can live together in peace. </p>

It's a combo I'm somewhat surprised they're going for, though I'm not necessarily complaining given the aforementioned -well- technical concerns. <p>DPLForums are a MediaWiki extension enabled by default on UCP Wikis. Discussions have nothing to do with MediaWiki. Two different things. There's no reason why it would need to be turned off to be usable. </p><p>Also, it <i>is </i>possible to disable Discussions if I recall correctly because I've seen it on <i>Warriors Wiki</i>, but I'd assume you'd need to contact FANDOM Staff and need a decent reason to do so. </p>

<p>So many things wrong with this... </p><p>There is no "switch from Discussions to DPLforum"... They are independent of each other. Also FANDOM staff has generally stated they won't help much if at all setting up DPLforum. </p><p>I believe wiki admins can request Discussions be disabled or at least I've seen some UCP wikis that had it get it removed. </p>
