Why is only Chinese Community Central not migrating to discussions?

Discussions doesn't have support for Chinese language switching

I should do that. </p><p>I can only hope that this...most anticipated migration (rather, its consequences) will...highlight the need for wikitext / richer editing ability on Discussions, because, while the lack of wikitext is far from my only gripe with Discussions, it currently detracts from the experience. </p><p>Well, as a reminder to anyone reading this, they updated Discussions to offer an alternate 'condensed' view to the default 'card' view. I highly recommend 'condensed' if you want any semblance of a traditional Forum format. While I continue to dislike Discussions, the infrequent times I use it, my dislike was even more pronounced when Card was the only option. Condensed makes it more bearable. </p>

<p>Some notes: </p>

1. It sounds like tech support will be on DPLforum, where there is still wikitext (I'm reasonably sure this is the reason they're going for this combo).
2. If you wish to switch from Discussions to DPLforum, from what I know you need to a) contact staff (the "switch" used to be turning off forums; you don't have control over whether Discussions is on or off) and b) can't switch off Discussions if it's already been turned on, only ask staff to re-enable DPLforums' forum namespace since the "switch" to do so is inaccessible to you.

<p>Why cannot Discussions be disabled? Message Walls and Comments can be disabled, though they are built in the same way on UCP. </p>
