Hi, it's best to find someone who speaks the language. Usually, this has to be someone who's interested in your wiki's topic!
You may also take a look at the Language Brigade Wiki, they have many users who volunteer and translate pages. There are maximums to prevent overloading the people there, so do check their rules.
Hi, I'm not sure if you understood me correctly. It's me who wants to translate some pages by myself as a native speaker of the other language. :) I just don't know technically what to put in the page source so it will get created as an other labugage version of this english page or should I start a new page in a special way?
But anyway I'll reach out to the language brigade - they should know.
Ah! You can create a new wiki under the new language, and then request an interlanguage link between the two - more information is available here. To link the two wikis, leave a request here.
Once the two wikis are linked, it's as simple as adding a language link to the bottom of each page with a translation, and each page will have a dropdown for users to move between wikis.
Ok. Cool. That's what I was looking for. Creating a completely new Wiki and translating so much sounds a bit of work ;) I just wanted to translated 2-3 pages :)
Anyway thanks for the help.
It's always good to start on it - there will be the few who stumble on the translated wiki and help out :)
Nevertheless, good luck with the wiki!
It's already there!! polish for Red Dead Redemption. So not bad, will contribute a bit then.
