I think its just a case of an article layout change that applied to multiple pages, and thus require the wiki users to change habits in order to accommodate it.
FYI there is another "Once Upon a Time" wiki at Once Upon a Time Wiki (as opposed to the one you mentioned, Once Upon a Time ABC Wiki). Not sure exactly why they split. The funny thing is I made wordmarks for both wikis.
I don't know either. Guess the people on the Wikia I've mention didn't like people on the other one so they made their own. There are several "Once Upon a Time" wiki. If you look on here: http://www.wikia.com/Special:Search?search=once+upon+a+time&resultsLang=en, then you'll see a few more wikias of "Once Upon a Time".
Well, I usually refer to the biggest ones as the smaller ones are often abandoned or inactive. Since there are so many, maybe you should try working on a different one from the one where you have problems with the admins.
Not all wikis have reasonable admins and Wikia doesn't like to interfere until they either blatantly violate the Terms of Use or too many users complain to them for them to ignore the problem. I'm not saying the admins you have problems with are bad, but I don't give them any more benefit of the doubt than a user that complains about them.
Since I had problems with the admins on the Wikia I mention, I made my own "Once Upon a Time" Wikia.
Ok, good luck.
I met something similar on the Yugioh wikia, I was going to edit one of the cards. Because it said "Odd-Eyes" monster. Xyz penedulum Effect monster. I was going to edit it to its name. Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon. Because thats its name. Its even on the Japanese Card List on the wikia. Yet when i edited the English one to match the japanese card list. It gets removed. I don't know if some of the admins are dub users, which would explain why they would not know or what.
But I found that rather annoying. One thing I have always hated about Wikias is that alot of admins think they know more than the fans. Before you remove something, at least do the research and explain why you removed someones edit. Its not like I'm changing the name of something to godzilla.

I know admins on the YGO wiki and they have very good reasons for naming things the way they do. Did you ask them why they think what you did is wrong? I suspect it's even in a guideline/policy page you probably didn't read.
