How to increase editing activity?

Hey.

I'm an admin on the YouTube Wiki. We have an issue regarding user activity.

How do we increase the amount of (active) editors? Currently, there is a major shortage of Staff. There isn't really anyone trust-worthy enough to promote to admin (or content-mod, etc.).

Although there are many unique editors, they do not edit daily or stay for a long period of time. With the shortage of Staff, it's hard to check every edit especially when there are so many.

At the moment, there is only one active Staff member besides myself. I'm a bureaucrat and he is a content moderator.

I'm having the same problem with Biomes O' Plenty Wiki (http://biomesoplenty.wikia.com/wiki/Biomes_O%27_Plenty_Wiki) People with accounts come on and only usually edit once or across a few days and disappear. It has a lot of visitors but the only editor is pretty much me, the bureaucrat went inactive awhile ago (he has a good reason though, and I am an admin there)

I admin and look at a lot of YouTube related wikis. There seems to be a trend lately specifically with YouTube related wikis getting a lot less traffic then they used to, so you guys aren't alone. We are all having trouble with it.

Actually BOP wiki is inactive since the minecraft mod was on hiatus across 2015 and the wiki was abandoned. Also about half of the pages were vandalised when i joined: and only ONE person did all of that.
