Is the issue fixed with the infobox image not being used as the thumbnail of the article (in Category gallery and Read more)?
I guess the "Recent changes across Wikia" box wasn't in-your-face enough.
Perhaps there really are people who still don't know about portable infoboxes, or maybe Wikia is hoping pestering us will work.
Wikia used to be about the freedom of communities to do whatever they liked with their content. But most new Wikia features are about Wikia dictating what communities must do with their content.
I've checked, and my infoboxes are not "broken" on mobile devices, so this banner is an outright lie.
Of course, while they look "okay" now, they looked better when CSS could be shoehorned in. As I've said before, I had already put a lot of work into ensuring that my content looked good on mobile, but since Wikia decided to throw that out, I will not be putting in any effort beyond making sure things aren't "broken".
You know what is broken on mobile devices? Embedded audio, and Wikia are the only ones who can fix that. I've also just reported the fact that references are broken on mobile.
Here's the banner itself:

Your infoboxes are outdated. Let's rebuild them with new methods that are mobile-friendly. Learn more here.
And here's CSS to hide the message:
edit: Took too long to type and was beaten to the CSS.

I guess you're not going to recognize anything but your new format. You need to get the hell over yourselves, all of our infoboxes look perfectly fine on mobile devices, we've checked them on iOS, Android and Windows phones as well as your built in mobile preview window and they all look fine, better than yours do if I was to be the judge.
Quit shoving these things down out throats and turn off that damn banner on every page!
A bit vulgar, but I agree, they may have gone to far with the huge orange box. Displaying them on Insights, though, I can deal with.
I'm sorry, I'm too busy laughing my butt off. Why? The big orange banner of doom appeared on a wiki I'm editing... but the only outdated infoboxes were the default ones put there by Wikia!
Bravo, wikia, bravo.
They might want to update those to fit the portable code, and have them pre-classified.

I was a tad annoyed when I wrote that, I was getting that banner popping up every page load, I've edited out the colorful language now.
I can ignore the insights messages too, but telling me that all 1,139 pages of my wiki are missing an infobox makes it a pretty useless tool don't you think?
Tried the Convert thing from the migration page, but it produced code of
Problem is what it produces is an info box which prints out
instead of compiling them into one line

Yeah, it was only a couple of them though. Still annoying.

I think I had that same problem at first when I tried, I basically, had to get help from people with Portable Infobox experience to hold my hand through it. The straight up convert option they give I think is for people who never really customized their infoboxes? I am not sure.
@LoveRobin
The PI converter routine works for simple infoboxes, but needs massaging for most anything with logic in it or fields that depend on other fields. I'll take a look at your stuff if you'd like.
