The code above is to make the image at the top of the link transparent. For adding the background image, this is the code (again from MediaWiki:Wikia.css):
.ns-112 h1.wordmark.medium.graphic {background: url("images4.wikia.nocookie.net/central/images/0/0b/Founder_child_wordmark.png") no-repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent !important;} .ns-113 h1.wordmark.medium.graphic {background: url("images4.wikia.nocookie.net/central/images/0/0b/Founder_child_wordmark.png") no-repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent !important;} .ns-114 h1.wordmark.medium.graphic {background: url("images4.wikia.nocookie.net/central/images/0/0b/Founder_child_wordmark.png") no-repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent !important;} .ns-115 h1.wordmark.medium.graphic {background: url("images4.wikia.nocookie.net/central/images/0/0b/Founder_child_wordmark.png") no-repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent !important;}
See Help:Namespace.
Oh, by the way, if you have custom namespaces in your wiki, go to search page, and in the advanced options right click on the namespace name and select inspect element. It has a value of the for attribue with the namespace ID. Like mw-search-ns2. On this case, the namespace ID is 2, so on the body element on pages in thsi namespace, will have a class of ns-2.
Hi, not to randomly poke in (oh wait... I am) but I was wondering, what is this for? Seems interesting!
Edit- Is this the code to change the wordmark on different (specific) pages?
This is the code to change the wordmark for all pages within a specific namespace.
It is also possible to change the wordmark on an individual page (rather than all pages in a namespace) — if that's what you're looking for — with minor changes to the code.
Okay, thanks. I will try it out and experiment with it tomorrow!
