I'm trying to use #if from within a template, and have the condition of the #if be based off of one of the parameters to the current template. I cannot get this to work. Basically if the template parameter was passed in as blank (e.g. param=) or if the parameter was not specified at all, I want something different to happen than if an actual value was passed in. More specifically, if the parameter is not empty, then I want to do something like
but if the param is empty, then I don't want to do anything at all. I've tried everything under the sun, and according to the documentation the following should work:
But the conditional always returns true, so it always puts the image in there even if param was unspecified, or specified blank.
The actual template in question is here: http://puzzle-dragons-global.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Monster_Test
Just view the source and Ctrl+F for #if
And a test page that uses the template is here. http://puzzle-dragons-global.wikia.com/wiki/Tyra_Test
Is there any chance that someone could help me figure this out?
