Here are the latest technical updates at Wikia. Keep in mind that our system updates happen every Wednesday, so we’re posting this on a Tuesday to give you advance notice. Also note that we change hundreds of tiny details every week, so these are just the highlights.
Major Bugs Fixed[]
- Special:Promote, when accessed using the Monobook skin, will now direct users to the Wikia skin to use the tool rather than show a white screen.
- We resolved an issue where undeleting articles was not working.
Select Known Issues[]
- Achievements badges are not displaying properly on user's pages.
- Template search in Editor is not working.
- When adding a video through the Editor's video tool and previewing it there, the back button or update video button does not stop the video playback (audio may still be heard).
- A few system messages are missing. Currently known:
<related-videos-tally-wiki> <oasis-latest-photos-title> <collapsible-collapse>and<collapsible-expand>. If you notice any more, please send them to Special:Contact.
