Here are the latest technical updates at Wikia. Keep in mind that our system updates happen every Wednesday, so we're posting this on a Tuesday to give you advance notice. Also note that we change hundreds of tiny details every week, so these are just the highlights.
New Features[]
Some more improvements are coming to the VisualEditor's template tool:
- Adding a new template will now show suggestions based on popular templates from that wikia
- Searching is improved, and can be performed by template name or article name - the latter will give you a list of templates used on that article.
- When a template has no parameters, the tool will give better information on what to do.
Major Bugs Fixed[]
- Main pages will no longer sometimes be missing the horizontal line between the title and the content area. This is a re-release of a previous fix.

- Section edit links will no longer be shown within Forum and Wall thread posts, as they had no effect. Thanks, Volunteer Developers!
- iPad users who reported problems uploading images after updating to iOS 8 are advised to update to iOS 8.0.2, which should correct the issue.
